This has to be one of the few threads, thanx in part to its sohh predecessor, that only seems to get better after each page......
............. I'm not lying when I say I won't to open up a bar or restaurant for the sole purpose of playing these type of tracks on the speakers.......The terrestial radio wouldn't know how to handle this kind of music....one day, the jazz format will be the Hip hop jazz format...

Man they used to have a restaurant/club here in Houston called Tokyo-hana that played this exact type of music. I actually got hip to a lot of shyt by bugging the DJ who was spinning and he opened up a genre of artist and music that I simply fell in love with. I'm getting older and I just find myself wanting to listen to less rap and more R&B, jazz, and just mellow ass instrumentals. This thread has provided that for me without question. Chief Macko has been acting a fool and finding some gold mines. I'm currently spinning that Jazz Jousters. Mellow as fukk.
