When you stay prayed up. It does wonders...Yep. U know the exact area. My auntie Cheryl has been missing for about 20 years now, her and my mom were both on the same tip down there. That coulda easily been my mama or even both of them for all I know.
Guess god had better plans for my og and she made the absolute best out of the situation. It's crazy when I think about just how possible it was for her situation to be the exact opposite of what it is right now. The lord works in mysterious ways for real.
The Northend neighborhoods of West Palm range from middle-class/well-kept, and blighted/dilapidated crime filled. This summer in particular was pretty violent around the North Tamarind corridor. Alot of shootings and homicides on that strip because of two warring factions in that part of the city. It was a hot summer from what I read. Too bad, because the North side of West Palm has one of the highest elevations in all of South Florida. They have some steep streets with homes overlooking the city. Those neighborhoods could become some of the most sought after neighborhoods in West Palm if things would just get fixed. There's a lovely somewhat middle-class neighborhood called Northwood Hills. That neighborhood also has one of the highest elevations in West Palm and in South Florida as a whole. The neighborhood is filled with Spanish-style mansions from the 20's, 30's, and 40's sitting atop these small but vertical hills that overlook the town. You could see all the way to the ocean from the top of some of those homes. But low and behold, right next to some of those homes lies abandoned and for closed homes. That neighborhood is historic one and is predominantly black, but its somewhere between solid middle-class and poor/high crime. Nice and strange neighborhood. West Palm in a nutshell...
