I’m not disputing but Martin Luther King is kind of polarizing. Especially when you bring Malcolm to the conversation with that.
X is more polarizing than King.
Additionally, no man can be all things to everyone. You look to certain aspects of a man's life to be a model.
I look to X's character transformation as a model. Not his religious ideology, before and after, because I disagree with it.
I look to King's commitment to the poor and downtrodden as a model, not his alleged extra-marital affairs because it goes against the covenant he made his wife and God.
I look to Dubois for his mission of pushing intellectual excellence among our community not his elitism that sometimes muddled the ability for his ideas to be received among the bottom 90%.
No man is perfect and can be all things to every black man.
