I always said a Family Matters reboot should be about Urkel and Laura's son and his robot friends going on crazy adventures. Just lean all the way into the fact that Family Matters turned into a sci-fi show as the years went on, like Doctor Who meets Lab Rats meets Quantum Leap.

Make Myra's daughter live next door and have a crush on Urkel's son, but Myra's like Urkel's parents in the original so we never see, but they don't have to kill her off.
