“Family Guy” white actor will no longer play “Cleveland Brown”

A lot of white women are about to become unemployed in the Anime field.

They literally make dozens of animated shows yearly featuring white female characters, the reason why they're giving these roles up is because they know that they'll be taken care of. If anything them taking these roles in the first place showed just how selfish they really are.

Yeah like Nancy Cartwright and Bart Simpson. Most if the cartoons the majority of the people don't know who voices them unless its someone popular. Like the simpsons voice actors are well known cuz its been over 30 years the same cast. And of course people know Family Guy cuz of Seth McFarlane, Mila Kunis, and Seth Green but I had no idea who voiced Cleveland. Would've thought it was Seth. I'm sure there are other black/white mixes from both sides all thru out the cartoon world.

Don't they have to audition for these roles tho? Entertainment industry is a ruthless and competitive one. You gotta be selfish cuz others are gonna take all the roles and you'll be left with nothing. I doubt most voice actors make that much unless they really well known anyways. Top 2 are creators of South Park, then Seth McFarlane, Mike Judge who created beavis and butthead and king of the hill, Mark Hamill who's already well known from the Star Wars series, 3 Simpsons voice actors, a guy that does video games, some of which are the highest selling games of this generation, and some Billy West guy who isn't as known but has done lots of voice work. So you got 4 cartoon creators, 3 voice actors who have had their roles for over 30 years, a movie star and 2 others. Gotta be selfish cuz not everyone makes it in the entertainment industry or survives. Gotta take whatever role you can get.

I can see a massive discrimination lawsuit coming from this if it is only white voice actors being confined to voicing white characters only, you know some lawyer out there is just waiting to get at Fox/Disney.

If it is across the board voice actors only doing their race then Phil LaMarr is going to suffer as well, I also think voice actors will lose even more jobs to well known actors doing shytty voice roles.

They should probably just end the Simpsons instead of changing the small number of roles, the show is way way past it's prime and changing Karl's and doctor Hibbert's voices is pointless, Family Guy could just get rid of Cleveland and nobody would give a shyt.
