the problem with family guy is all the characters are just one note jokes. they arent even characters their just a vessel for a type of joke. one guys handicapped, one guys black, one guys a pervert etc. show should have stayed cancelled.

its funny though because american dad out grew family guy a long ass time ago and is the vastly superior show.

Many shows have this problem. But since people still watch them, the network thinks it will just keep milking that cash cow.

So many shows that should have ended already. The Simpsons, Two and a Half Men, for example. I don't really watch Family Guy so I wouldn't be able to comment on it. As for South Park, last season was pretty good. The two previous seasons were pretty terrible for the most part though.
