Playing ME:A got me frustrated because it reminds me of this game being so good with it's flaw.

This game is a few changes from being GOAT level.

  • Make the open world a little smaller (some areas exist only to make the world big)
  • Make finding Shaun a shorter process
  • Have the 4 factions engage in each other in the middle of the game, not towards the end
  • Make it a way for all three to live with each other SOME WAY
  • Better graphics
  • More people and less people who are just enemies off rip--:dahell: we can't just talk to a Raider once in a while (there was a great example with that Raider gang on that bridge).
Overall, this game has been ADDICTIVE

I'll say this again; Survival is playing this game the way it's meant to

I agree. This game is great as an open-world choose your own adventure game set in the post apocalypse but it suffers when the Shaun stuff comes into play because the pacing of the game feels disjointed.

But it's so addictive. It has a great gameplay loop and survival combat is hard enough where you really get nervous just traveling through the wasteland or you're in a fight. Makes you think about different tactics and using everything available to you.

But since bullets hurt them badly too, you don't feel it's too unfair.

fukk mines though. Mines are the quickest way to lose like two hours of progress.

:ufdup:First lesson I learn after being the game on Very Hard, then doing my first Survival run, always take a nap.

I remember maybe two time going about a real word hour without saving, then dying :snoop:

Open world game have bad pacing because there's too much you can do between the main story and no one wants to rush the main story.

Not Japan
Not fantastic......... not encouraging.

What did you like about it.
Pretty much everything @Draje said above. It's tense on survival mode especially playing a low health build. Gotta know which fights to pick and which to avoid cause save beds are scarce in the world. I liked collecting legendary weapons too even tho the rng will 95% will give u a shytty one

Did anyone on the coli thoroughly enjoy this game and or play it on the harder difficulties

I don't think you'll like it, honestly. The shooting is decent but you definitely gotta use some mods for it. It's not really "skill-based" either. The AI in these games isn't smart enough for that. On survival, you can't really get more skilled at the game and out-skill the systems ok display. Bullets do too much damage (Seriously, a stray bullet or two is DEATH).

But it's still fun. I think it's a good change of pace. The tenseness comes less from the combat itself and more from the balance of exploring the world, collecting resources, and trying to get back to a "base" you established without getting killed.

Youll probably like it. PS4 mods are trash compared to Xbox & PC but it's still fun either way. Play it on survival mode if you want a real challenge (although I use mods to make the combat more realistic, I ain't with the "1 shot to kill you but every enemies a bullet sponge shyt")

You can play however you want, got open world freedom, and can build settlements. If that sounds good to you then you might as well try it. My girl & I played the shyt out of FO4 from launch til Mass Effect Andromeda came out. Probably gonna pull t back out soon just to see the new mods they've got out now

yes to both. My only playthrough was entirely on survival. still havent finished the main story but I did play it for over a hundred hours.

Its good if you have time to kill and enjoy exploration. Its not a good rpg in anyway. I also enjoyed the settlement building but I know most people dont.
