i like obsidian but nv felt boxed in compared to 3. it was something key missing...
New Vegas didn't feel as epic as 3. In 3 I felt like I was on a adventure, didn't really get that same feeling with NV.

NV had better rpg elements and was truer to Fallout lore. But 3's story and atmosphere puts it over the top for me.New Vegas didn't feel as epic as 3. In 3 I felt like I was on a adventure, didn't really get that same feeling with NV.

3 was set up almost exactly like 1 and 2. NV was too different imo. it felt like one of those spin offs even though they went back to the old setting
I might budge and get back in to gaming for this I got so much hours in 3 and NV, I liked the way actions had consequences in NV more, spying for Ceasar's Legion and blowing up the monorail without any reputation loss with the NCR the different ways the final battle would go, depending on who you joined, allied with or wiped out was great for replay value. Choices not having consequenses was and is still my biggest issue with Skyrim, how you gonna let a known stormcloak just wander into your city to do quests?
