Hmm, I'm a Mass Effect stan, now and could never get into New Vegas...
Fallout NV is almost as good. It has great exploration and I played all the dlc. I put close to 200 hours in that game. If you like fallout 3, you like new vegas
Hopefully a fallout game made by Obsidian will come out a year or two after Bethesda's fallout

I like Fallout NV and 3 probably equally. I appreciated the strengths in both games. Fallout 3 had the better storyline, NV better everything else.
