Using VPN to unlock early won't get you banned. Nobody has EVER been banned from using VPN to play games early.
You can get banned if you use a VPN to PURCHASE a game.
I've been doing this since 2012 for virtually every big release and I've had zero problems and I've seldom heard anyone on Steam forums, Gaf, here or elsewhere say they were banned.
What Steam has problems with is people using VPNS to buy a game cheaper from another country's store.
Google it. You never see anyone claiming they got banned from playing early. I'm serious. I cannot find a single person online saying they were banned. It's literally unheard of.

Yeah doing that is kind of risky but I think if you do it through another reseller you might be good. I know I bought GTA V through a VPN but that was not on Steam though. I got the key for Steam and used it and I've been fine.
It won't. It's a Fallout game its a fun ride but I'm a fan of the series but honestly like I've said before this is a slow burn type game. If you like exploring an open world game you'll likely like Fallout 4 but if you're around for an entertaining story or characters you're probably not gonna care for it much. This is a game I'll likely be playing well into 2016 and probably won't even finish. I never finished Fallout 3 or New Vegas. Probably put 30 hours into each and got boggled down with side quest and never completed the main campaigns was playing both off and on so long I got distracted by other games and Never got back to finishing them. Xbox 360 got stolen and that was that. Now I own both on PC but never started them again. Same thing happened with Skyrim.

That guy bought into the hype and left disappointed. He found much of the game to be boring and uneventful. He said later in the game the story does pick up a bit but the cast is forgettable and he wasn't sure it was worth plodding through the uneventful sections to reach that part.
