Dropped this show midway through the second season. And I hardly ever drop shows like that. Pretty much became a chore to sit through. Has it gotten any better?

It has its moments here and there, but I would say the quality level hasn't jumped up or anything. If you were not enjoying it then, you made the right decision to drop.

Show just got renewed for a 5th and final season.

watched the first couple episodes of season 4 and had to drop this
theyve aged the baby like 20 years(4400 did this same stupid shyt before) and she a little cult now
they got kids is concentration camps trying to reprogram them

i finally had to drop it this season. horrible acting and script and music and everything. not nearly enough fukkery to keep me around despite the shortcomings, like walking dead
I watched the first season a few years ago, was thinking about jumping back in but after yalls posts, I might have to say fukk it.

Just finished burning through the remaining episodes of season 4 I had on my DVR. Overall this season was 
I've been watching since the beginning and because they announced the last season will be the final one I'll ride it out.
Lexi looked so much better with the dark hair
. They wrapped up her storyline okay, but overall it could have been so much better.
Colonel Weaver is probably the most likeable character on the show.
Sometimes the characters and moments on the show can be way too earnest and cheesy.
The Matt/Ben/Maggie triangle seemed unnecessary, the show suffers from characters making choices just to create friction and drama with the payoff not being worth it.
They did leave on a decent cliff-hanger though.

Was that female alien at the end supposed to be Tom Mason's wife?

It looked like the alien might have possibly been projecting the image of his wife onto her form, would explain why he said "you're beautiful"
