Survival of the illest...or belly Sdtk :manny:
Hard knock life or aquemini :dwillhuh:
Docs da name or Da last don :why:
Tical 2000 or 400 degreez :snoop:
2pac greatest hits...or harlem world :sadcam:
When disaster strikes...or Flesh of my flesh blood of my blood :wtb:

These kind of choices had a nikka confused at tower, using them "sample" stands to hear snippets

Kids still struggle like this on itunes?

Actually some of these weren't hard at all.

Bought both Aquemini and Hard Knock Life (and I wasn't even a big Jay fan but I couldn't deny Hard Knock Life)

Doc's Da Name easily.

Tical 2000 easily. But, I got 400 Degrees after the second single came out.

Pac's Greatest Hit easily.

Bought both When Disaster Strikes and Flesh Of Flesh, Blood Of My Blood.

The bolded were the albums that i copped back in 98 but to answer your question motherF*CK no kids dont struggle like that no more. Nowadays its all about deleting three fourths of an album and puttin the rest on their ipods but those cd's from 98, i fukks with most them from beginning to end. I dont know why i didnt cop FOMFBOMB back then but i love that now too, classic from the first to the last song

First of all those where theoretical options; they didn't release at the same time but were on the shelves at once.

Secongdly, going into the releases, it was not clear which was a better purchase. jajyz, for example and outkast were fairly equal draws at that time of the year. It was unclear which is a better purchase, unless you go buy just the lead single. Masterp was a bigger draw than all of them...

It's nothing like those days back in the 90's when u had copped the latest Source to see who was dropping and who got what rating. Then going to the record store (y the hell weren't we going to best buy back then or) and paying damn near 20 dollars for the latest Cd. Ripping the liner packaging off and looking through the booklet to see who produced the beats and who guest starred on the album. Then playing a lil sample of each song finding the ones u fukk with the most. I still buy CDs occasionally but it's not the same. Where as at on time i had to get it the day it dropped now i might weeks before i actually cop the physical copy. The internet was a gift and a curse at the same time.
