cant have a simple offseason. Every year its some fukkeryTheir offseason rivals Gainesville Correctional Institute.
Deshaun Watson was accused of sexual predatory behavior by over 20 women. He hasn't been released. This guy could face those same accusations and he'd be gone in less than a week. This is totally about status and their ease of parting with such a player with minimal impact. They cut this guy and it doesn't change the calculus of their team at all.
If he did what he was accused of then he deserves what's coming to him but them cutting him so fast isn't an act of courage it's the opposite. It's just easier for them to part ways whether of not he did it because this is out in the public. I also don't believe they didn't know about this.
None were criminal charges re Dashaun, I don’t remember all the charges but they were for exposing himself and soliciting/coercing sex - not assaults, and they were adults. Dude is facing felony charges for crimes against minors - little boys at that. I'm not cool with anything all I'm saying is anybody can say someone did something. Multiple people can say that someone did something. Doesn't mean they did it. People spend a lot of time in prison for stuff they didn't do.
I'm not saying it wasn't true I don't know the particulars of the case but it's not inconceivable to me that that a situation could arise that someone could weaponize a child against someone else. Especially given the fact that such allegations could ruin a person's life.Kids don’t just make up abuse allegations in the vast majority of cases. Neither do women, but the Coli never wants to have that conversation. A detective unit was on this case for quite some time before charges were filed.
There were rumors in Cleveland that he liked young boys too.
It happens yes. But it’s not the norm. As others have said “innocent until proven guilty” is a legal term, not a generic catch all term. Atlanta did the logical thing cutting him. If the courts exonerate him I’m sure he can return to the league.I'm not saying it wasn't true I don't know the particulars of the case but it's not inconceivable to me that that a situation could arise that someone could weaponize a child against someone else. Naw the NFL needs a standard issue policy for criminal stuff like this. If something like that happens the player should be indefinitely suspended and the team granted a roster exemption until the situation is resolved either way. It shouldn't be placed on the team to cut someone to try and avoid bad publicity. Allegations like this are devastating and the instant people hear them they'll assume they're true whether or not they are.It happens yes. But it’s not the norm. This reminds me of a lot of Me Too cases in the sense that there were rumors before accusations arrived 1-2 years later. That to me is a major sign that this dude did that shyt.
WTF???This will be swept under the rug by the lbgtq mafia

Real world don’t work like this, nor should it. If you get arrested for exposing yourself to a minor, your job is firing you ASAP. Even if the NFL had a strong union like the NBA they wouldn’t be able to get away with indefinitely suspending an accused child molester.Naw the NFL needs a standard issue policy for criminal stuff like this. Cause it's true. If Barkevious Mingo faced even the same exact allegations Watson faced he wouldn't last a week because it's just easy to cut him and move on. People of a certain status have different rules applied to them.Somebody actually dapped this
Ray Lewis was arrested for murder. He wasn't cut. Hell he got to retire a Raven. He also paid off the family of one of the victims to go away. Are you suggesting the Ravens wanted to be connected to a possible murderer? Cause I'm suggesting because he was Ray Lewis they didn't release him cause that impacts the calculus of the team. If some regular player had that happen he wouldn't last a few days.Real world don’t work like this, nor should it. If you get arrested for exposing yourself to a minor, your job is firing you ASAP. False accusations are bad but using a minority of cases to dictate legal situations like this doesn’t make sense. No team wants to be connected to this. And if it’s false and the kids are proven to be lying I’m sure he will get another job. Until then…he gone.
