And for anybody interested there is a source/story for this (the original bootlegs; Makaveli 2-5). Once Pac passed 5 Safety Catalog DATs were created at Can Am for reference purposes. Apparently somebody from Death Row left theses DATs in their car when they to a mechanic and somebody who worked on it took them and that's who made the copies for the bootleggers.

just had to stop to ask - this say Nate took his masters and released them through a different label does that mean that's the best we would have gotten from Nate on Death Row? i think a Nate Dogg album at the height of Death Row would have been amazing, great beats from Dre, great features from the entire roster and of course Nate cutting every hook and throwing in verses and solo songs. i think the album is great as it is but it could have been better

The second era of DR was so incredibly corny
Those snoop & pac soundalikes (and all the others, they had a lady of rage soundalike too and some others )
the constant shyt talking from suge with all his laughable gossip stories like when he published an alleged letter from snoop & daz where they snitched on their whole set or somethin
The disses itself from the label where also , for example there was a song by two of those copycats titled "Wanna Be Like Us"
Wonder what snoop, dre etc. thought when they heard all those horrible diss attempts
Probably sat there like while countin their cash

Once snoop released Pimp slappd and dissed the shyt out of suge, and the incident it was finally over for dr


Edit: Suge is the undisputed king of fake gossip stories, there are a couple threads on this and tons of articles on other websites, I'm still @ most of these stories, like Dr Dre tellin Suge he wanted to be white, Suge savin Pac from drowning and comforting him like a child afterwards or Snoop gettin punched by 2Pac and throwin up afterwards

With Top Dogg, IMO he didn't sound much like Snoop, but Tha Realest took things to a different level with his stannery. He recorded songs that were originally 2pac songs. Rumor is the lyrics from the song below were from a 2pac/Snoop song still in the vaults

Well I doubt it was intentional. The DATs were made for Amaru/Interscope. I guess the person just forgot they left them in the car, or at least that's how the story goes. Whoever took them was lucky.
