I don't see the big deal here. You can be right handed and do certain things with your left or vice-versa.

I'm right handed. I dribble with my left and right.When i joined the Army they forced me to shoot with my left because my left eye is my dominant eye. I got pretty good at it even tho it was uncomfortable at first. Eventually i practiced with my right hand too. I can now shoot with my left AND my right.

As for Vick i can only assume some dumb teacher in elementary forced him to write with his left and he stuck with it.

That prolly explains his accuracy issues. My lil cousin writes right handed but passes and shoots with his left.

It doesn't give him an competitive edge or balance.

Bust his ass so bad on the court last weekend he tried to revert back to his right hand. That made my day.

I used to think I was weird until I found out that Larry Bird & Lebron are lefties who shoot with their right as well. Apparently, it's quite common for us left handed people to adjust and have our weaker hand become the dominant one in sports.
