Friday Night Lights is one of the best shows I’ve seen ever. I couldn’t tell you what my all-time top 5 is but know FNL would make the list easy. Series Finale had me on the verge of tears. Hate that I didn’t know it was this great live and waited years to see it.

It’s all about the characters and the people you root for. Who are you rooting for in All-American? I’m rooting for Sean and Coop more than Spence and that’s the street side of the show. Think 10 episodes passed and I couldn’t tell you if Spence is a likable character or anyone on the team.

I used to be salty as fukk no one I went to school with watched the show...even brehs on my football team wasn't watching it.

Exactly, the rich girl seem basic

I just watched the first 8 eps, its a good little CW show and its black so that’s a plus, but cut it out, this shyt ain’t FNL cw cant produce something that real if they wanted to. They are too light hearted of a network, it had potential with the pops storyline but they backed away from that

the pops storyline aint over. its lingering all over the show.

and they closed out the season with the Malibu coach dropping a teaser-bomb on spencer about both his pops and his "pops".

and wasn't nothing on FNL as real as that last episode. that chit gave off the same vibes you feel when you watch the end of menace II society.

meanwhile, FNL would have episodes dedicated to riggins and his trailer park. or the coaches daughter or wife.
or the tara chick who had no connection to football at all.
I don't know why people are in here fronting like FNL was al about Xs and Os. more like half of it.

I'm a fan of both shows. STOP IT!!! FNL is a better show. "One Tree Hill" is a sports-related Teen Drama that is better comparison to "All American".

Friday Night Lights is iconic. Tim fukking Riggins. Coach Taylor. Come on. All-American is a good show, but the CW has had plenty of shows much better.
