It's a historical documentary. Not some Lena Waithe nonsenseI have reached my quota for shows on downtrodden negroes for the time being.

That's his style though but I can see why people wouldn't like it. Its like he's having a conversation in real time and hopping back and forth like a normal conversation. Some really good information, but the direction is really poor. Should have went with a more linear or chronological focus. This shyt is all over the place.

I agree. The subject matter is disgusting enough to make me wanna take a break from watching but getting back in can feel kinda confusing. Feels like it'll be easier to just binge the whole seriesSome really good information, but the direction is really poor. Should have went with a more linear or chronological focus. Give him a few years. I was thinking the same thing and have my sons watch it. After watching all the parts I’m going to wait until they get older. The documentary has some strong imagery (which is a good thing) but they are too young.I started episode 1, picked up the vibes the way the whites were moving against the Seminoles and had to step away
Restarted it today, just finished episode#1
On another note, I considered having my son (12) watch this. Maybe in a few years
