^^^^Yeah, Extant really is 2 shows in one. You have the whole alien drama conspiracy thing with Halle and the A.I. drama with Ethan going on. Thus the dad looks really bad because he is busy focusing on Ethan while his astronaut wife is out there doing spy shyt

I'm still watching it. Its entertaining enough. Not sure what the overall endgame is though. I'm still confused why Halle had to get pregnant but yeah, the robot son is the best part of the show, not sure why they made that the secondary story, it should have been the main story. Maybe Spielberg will tie both of the story lines together in the finale...

i had a theory that the aliens were just spirits/energy of dead people and Halles husband was gonna find a way to somehow put the energy into an AI brain and give them robot bodies

i remember a few episodes ago he was talking about how it was possible for someone to live forever if he figured out how to do it

now i dont know...the alien story is confusing as fukk.Now it looks like Halles baby is a full grown man so who knows where the fukk they are going with this

they really dropped the ball not focusing on Ethans story more.Hes basically the only reason im still waching

I've been sticking with the show as well and with the 2 hr finale being next week, I might as well ride it out. The show isn't horrible by any means, it just doesn't really bring anything new to the table or execute the ideas it does bring really well.

Ethan kept accelerating though, I would say overall he was the best part of the show. He stepped up at the end too in saving Molly.

I thought the finale was better than most of the episodes they did because they racked up the tension. Overall though I felt the series was a disappointment and had a lot of potential that wasn't executed well.

seems like they still havent learned from season 1

Ethan was barely in the episode and it looks like the main plot is still gonna focus on the aliens instead of the robots
