They are somewhere in between being super creative to being just completely random.

I see them as guys hellbent on breaking the rules, of reinventing the genre, come up with a brand new sound, just being completely different and apart from everyone else that's out right now or from everything that came before as well...

So maybe they should stick to doing more regular type of hip-hop cause they're really talented or maybe they should stick to what they're doing who knows...

Odd Future is finished. This group has nothing important on the horizon that will effect hiphop in any shape or form. Cacs praying these demons are the future but im sorry, no. Its over. Earl washed up doin happy music. THe last OF tape was hot trash. Nobodies thinkin about a left b rain beat. Hodgy signed to a wack record label and released a trash tape. Domo genesis on his way to becoming Elzhi and Tyler the creator is a twitter warrior. Wrapped.

Hype determines music quality for you? :why:

huh?

It has nothing to do with hype. Last year they were new and interesting.....their music didn't evolve or progress the right way. The only people who listen to Odd Future are suburban white kids who say nikka.

Odd future is the first group or artist to blow up and I haven't heard one person quote a single bar or verse from any of them...no hate...just my experience

You shouldn't have to do anything. If you heard a few tracks and you aren't feeling it then its not for you, keep it moving :manny:

That said though - I think you have to listen to b*stard all the way through in order to really "get" Tyler. I can see why people think would think he's trash if you just listen to a few random tracks. But, you might still think he's trash after that, who knows.

I agree with the previous assessment of Earl though. The Earl album was great. Haven't been impressed with anything by him since.

This, the first song and last song really explain a lot about him and why he started odd future.

I guarantee most the nikkas in here hating probably heard 1 or 2 songs from them and wrote them off. And just look how salty they sound. Acting like they got robbed by em or something :dead:

The odd future hate is a proof that hate in hiphop usually has nothing to do with the music. OF sound like nothing you hear on the radio, matter of fact their music grittier than 95% of the game. Earl is one of the best young technical mcs to come out in a long time.

Hiphop heads always bytching about how soft and R&bish hiphop has got but at the same time shyt on the crew that makes songs like this:
:why:
