Explain why I should listen to Odd Future

A friend whose taste is usually similar to mine keeps telling me to listen to these Odd Future characters.

I checked some of their shyt on spotify but so far I'm not feelin it.

Do people around here like these guys or do you think they're goofballs like I do?

Because a few members are dope. I only listen to Tyler, Earl and Frank. Hodge sometimes and I gave up hope for mike G and Domo genesis.

Don't treat them any different then any other rap collective. Don't just write them off either cuz other nikkas may not fukk with them. You might actually find that you do fukk with their style

You shouldn't have to do anything. If you heard a few tracks and you aren't feeling it then its not for you, keep it moving

That said though - I think you have to listen to b*stard all the way through in order to really "get" Tyler. I can see why people think would think he's trash if you just listen to a few random tracks. But, you might still think he's trash after that, who knows.

I agree with the previous assessment of Earl though. The Earl album was great. Haven't been impressed with anything by him since.
