Expensive homes ... would you buy one if you had the money?

It's a $175M property for the land not the house itself.

As a (single with desire to marry/procreate) billionaire once over, I'd probably have homes in multiple cities at no more than $3M a pop. An estate is for a family.

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
I hate houses. And houses far away from the city for the most part are located on land that have no value anyway!

Give me a penthouse on the 69th Floor please and now in Manhattan they have buildings that have elevators for your car :ehh:

I guess the house would be nice if I have kids but once they grow up I’m selling the shyt out of that house and running back to my condo/penthouse.

Don't raise kids in those houses.. :merchant:
I would just need a place to park 50-200 cars with a billion in value, Enzo's in different shade just because :blessed:

I'd rather live in 5-10 different small places with 1 main house, thinking about it now myself.

Yeah if I were to ever get in that position, I'd probably have 1 main house in my hometown with other smaller houses or condos in different cities I venture to/have business in

I would sooner have a smaller home on that land. Can you imagine even dusting that house lol

You think broke

Homie said a billie....you, your kids, your kids kids, and their kids will never have to pick up a cleaning tool ever again.

To answer your question OP i'd create an LLC and buy shyt through that plenty of tax loopholes and yes I'd have an estate to be passed down

My answer is Yes I would want the palatial estate. I understand the people talking about safety because even if you are on a lot of acres and in a gated community you would still have housekeepers and chefs and landscapers who could rob you or set you up to be robbed and kidnapped. I want to feel safe first and foremost. A big house would be tempting because the dimepiece loose women would love a mansion, acres of land, pools, expensive cars, servants and fancy dinners at home.:patrice:

Not worth $175 million. I don't understand the need for "privacy" and that much acreage in the Hamptons. You are literally surrounded by other self-absorbed millionaires and billionaires who could care less about your dealings unless you are some type of drug or mafia type. Then you're the wrong type that shouldn't be in the area. But certain neighborhoods self-select so the need for privacy or security is really silly especially when both you and your neighbors all paid the $550,000 initiation fee to belong to Maidstone.

I can understand having a house in Westchester, Hudson Valley, or Tuxedo Park with that amount of acreage, but in the Hamptons? No. The whole point of "summering" is the community. The "arrivistes" miss the whole point when they throw up hedges or acquire more acreage in the need of "privacy".
