Casuals will not see much difference, especially on a 32-40in TV. Granted, the gap between the OG One and the Scorpio will be much larger than the gap between the OG PS4 and the Pro.

The difference between a $400 dollar stronger system vs a $500 weaker system resulted in what was perceived as a large difference. The 100-150 difference in lines of resolution is not that big of a deal in retrospect, but combining the more expensive price tag PLUS a weaker system...you then have the sales results we see today

It is known that the PRO is not cut out for full 4k graphics with a game such as that. That being said, what DF actually states is that owners of 1080p TVs...that do not have any access to 4k resolution...will have the biggest come up as they will have the best of both worlds. What that means is that they do not have to worry about the resolution scaling down below 1080p, unlike 4k TV set owners, whom will deal with lower than 2160p resolutions pretty much all the time. The game will still be much sharper than an OG PS4, which is quite clear from the video
