That's actually a really good observation

And its sad he's content with putting out overtly crappy product as long as there's no competition
This really has nothing to do with competition. It's probably have to do the TV companies telling WWE that this product is unacceptable. They where on a crash course for major change to happen.

Granted, Heyman and Eric weren't putting out a good product in the end of their last position as show runners. This could be all for nothing. Triple H should of at least been promoted to Smackdown, but the heat between Vince and HHH is supposedly high.

FOX don’t play, they would’ve canceled SD by 2020.

Glad they realize internally their product is currently shyt and needs improving. Great moves on paper, but going to have to see on execution as long as THAT'S GOOD shyt PAL is still giving the final word.
Granted they had bigger stars back then but the Ruthless Aggression era is one of the GOAT eras in all of wrestling, if they can capture a little bit of that magic back then they'll be solid.
So this is for real right, not a storyline?

If so, you cannot write something that reeks of such desperation to try and keep the so called "lapsed fans"
They do nothing people complain about them not caring, then they do something and people say they're desperate. Guess what every Attitude Era star was born out of desperation.

SD was still good towards the end of Heyman's run, and the only reason he left was because of Stephanie being jealous of getting all of the praise.
