I was lowkey excited about the news until i read that they both have to report to Vince :francis:

Vinny Mac still has the final word which means Vince will still filter the show how he sees fit.

This just tells me that if everything goes to shyt, Vince will just blame them..

First it was “We gonna let the fans be the GM!” too “Let’s do the superstar shake up...i mean fukk that let’s have the wild card!” to then hiring Heyman and Bischoff as head of creative...that coke must be good :pachaha:
The one thing people have to remember is that the attendance going viral was a complete embarrassment to Vince, so I think he finally gets what needs to be done now. Not to mention that Fox is letting it be know quickly that they're not going to be pushovers like the USA network is when it comes to Vince. Vince is a egomaniac so him having final word means that he'll let them do whatever he just wants to be the one who gives the ok.

They actually did have some brilliant new blood on the shows a few years ago (Ryan Ward, Jimmy Jacobs, Robert Evans), but they all either got demoted (Ward) or were fired/left for incredibly stupid and petty reasons (Jacobs and Evans).

We also can't gloss over the fact that this type of announcement is mainly driven by wanting to get good mainstream coverage, Vince loves perception and announcing a guy like Ward as the head of SD on FOX wouldn't move the needle, even though it would probably be the best decision for the product and long term success of the brand.

Has Bischoff ever explained his TNA run?

Cause for how much everyone likes to make like WCW 2000 was the worst TV ever he outdid himself almost threefold over there
Bro it’s TNA
John Cena could’ve went there and it would’ve crashed and burned eventually

What's the betting odds on Heyman clashing with one of the McMahons (Likely Stephanie, but possibly Vince) not long after this? You know that train is never late. :lolbron:

My skepticism aside though, it'll be interesting to see how this works going forward for them.
