I agree with you, but the ironic thing is that theres a very fine line between what would be considered criminal and we'll go with "patriotic duty"

I do share the same concerns that their shadow business ends up costing the lives of Americans.

if the CIA's job is to keep perpetual war going to keep the arms flowing, and in the process they happen to fund or arm people who will later kill us, how is that in any way beneficial to the citizens of this country aside from maybe some employment to make, design and build these weapons? You see my point.

I was never disagreeing with you though breh. :dwillhuh:

All i was saying is theres a very fine line between what would be normally considered criminal and doing your duty. We've seen it time and time and again where things the CIA have done come back to bite us in the ass.

I didn't say you disagreed breh, I just worded it in the wrong way I guess.

I feel the CIA's job is to keep us safe within the rule of law. Arming people who will use those weapons to kill Americans is the antithesis of that.

Exactly. We're saying the same thing homie. I do feel sometimes the "rules" need to be stretched, but youre absolutely right in that, if we're stretching or making new rules as they come along, its counterproductive to public safety if its going to harm Americans.

Thats why ive got the :what: :dwillhuh: :mindblown: when i read about the CIA arming Syrian rebels

Definitely. We saw the same thing in Afghanistan against the Soviets. But the sheer fact that we armed the Islamists is the reason for my :dwillhuh:
