Stupid overrated book..it's for dumb people that think reading it will gain them control over others..I've read it a few times and took notes..I'm not a manipulative person so it ain't for me..nor should it be for anyone else
Depending on your ethics or lack thereof, you can use the book's tactics offensively or defensively.
For example, if you want to protect yourself from manipulators, it would help to recognize the signs of manipulation.

nah if you want to avoid manipulation you read the secret. and you'd also be a lame.

I like the book... like billy said you can also read the art of war, a much harder book to apply and interpret. This book was written for the lay man, and it also covers stuff from other sources not just the art of war. It's a good read, but it's definitely not the one out there. You don't gotta be a shady person for this book to be useful, it's all about how you apply it.

Ya I've read the art of war but I think I read the condensed version cuz it was really small..I'll have to pick that up..my boy @Raymond Burrr picked up Gaddafi's Little Green Book in the book store a few nites ago but they only had vol. 1..I should of copped it since I found it

i heard it outlines his plans for economic success and etc also.
none of this shyt is better than the other....
I've read it all. it's similar and you can gain from all of it.... NTM 48 is just interesting anyway....... the stories are fire, the examples are fire, the what can go wrong is fire... shyts a good read.
I like those other books like Art of War, but overall they are not as entertaining.

It's a very good read, but anyone looking for a guide on "power" or "manipulation" is wasting their time. There's no magic bullet or universal formula to follow, and if there was it couldn't be neatly classified into 48 different chapters.
