again this has everything to do with fif wanting to sign mase. He was in negotiations with puff and at that time mase was with 50 cent everywhere even started making an album. When it was time to finalize the deal 50 cent and J. Iovine had dinner with Puff ready to sign and Puff Flipped on them and said he wanted 2 million dollars. 50 and Jimmy Iovine laughed and Jimmy said Mase isn't worth 2mill with 2mill in his pocket. it goes back beyond that though. he never liked Puff from the start of that ghostwriting deal he was gonna give him but didn't want no parts of his problems he was involved with. that's Diddy backed out of that deal. he was basically mocking him in this.
