Outlaw Vern made an observation about Oscar Isaac in his review so spot-on it immediately clicked with me why I've been low-key stanning this guy since Drive:
I've never been able to explain that shyt until now.![]()
i don't get the logic of the coli sometiimes..always wanting sequels to films that don't warrant or need one. .like the dude on here who wanted a nightcrawler sequelIs a sequel in the works

but to answer your question probably not..the film has only made 16 million..granted it just went fully wide last week..but the budget was $16 mil as well. it's gotten great word of mouth though and universal praise
Don't know if this was mentioned but i was dying when they broke out dancing. That was hilarious for some reason.
One thing that constantly keeps popping up in my head but then I forget about it...
The panels she used to overcharge and disable the lab's electronics were supposed to be her power charging pads, weren't they? Wouldn't that mean she'd eventually run out of power in the free world?
I felt that could've used a line exchange, something like "You'll run out of power out there, you can't survive!" "I rather die in freedom than live forever in a prison", but that might've been a bit too cheesy.
Great movie and great cinematography. Just reading that the director did Dredd and the 28 series. Dude is on my tops list along with Neil Burger (limitless, the illusionist) and Martin McDonagh
I really hope they make an alternate ending where she does love him. If Nathan wasn't so much of a dikk, he could've prevented it. It shows how simple us men can be. We just want love
