Tardigrades are the only living organism that we are currently aware of that can survive the vacuum of space. But I am talking about advanced, intelligent lifeforms that can defy our understanding of living organisms. The earth is unique because it can accommodate a variety of living organism that depend on an ecosystem. A similar planet to earth would be at such a distance that it would be near impossible for organic complex life to surpass their own biological limitations and to be able to survive the harshness of space.
