Ok, there is a game called Evolution (something like that) I just looked at that inspired me to make this thread.
The game has nothing to do with real theory of evolution, but that is what I wanted to talk about.
Katt Williams during his recent standup spoke about how Evolution is false

Said if Monkeys evolved to Men, why are there still monkeys?
Thats how I always felt, but I recall a few posters saying how dumb he sounded.
Ok, then explain it to the neanderthals who just evolved more recently

Are you guys saying some people evolve faster than others?
I know spanish people are pretty hairy, so are middle easterners. Are they one step away from being a monkey?
Black people are called monkeys.. we usually the bald ones tho, I'm confused.

And what about the inbetweeners then if we do evolve a different rates?
Does a monkey just give birth to a human one day?
If its more gradual, then where are all the half breeds?
Cuz if the change happens in a generation like if a monkey was Mario.. then once he puts on his racc00n suit, he's human?

Technically, humans didn't evolve from monkeys, rather, monkeys and humans share a common ancestor. The premise, and train of thought is flawed. Humans aren't "more evolved" than monkeys ... there is no goal line in evolution, only adaptions based by natural selection. Often, people regard intelligence as the goal of evolution, and put a higher value on that which makes us unique. However, in actuality, that characteristic might be more detrimental to the survival of the species in the long term...

No but of course you can't reproduce with a monkey ... BECAUSE IT'S A DIFFERENT SPECIES! That doesn't mean both humans and chimps aren't from a common ancestor.

We've conducted experiments with fruit flies and other plants and animals with short lifespans/quick reproduction. When breeding these flies, after a certain number of generations, they stop being able to reproduce with one another. They're still technically flies, but there are now two distinct species of fly, biologically. It's the same for humans. Technically, we are genetically chimpanzees, but we are just further removed ... millions of years removed, in fact. Really wrap your head around that amount of time. If speciation can happen within say.. a couple of years for those flies, multiply that by four to ten million, why can't something similar happen with chimps and humans?
