The Shadow Warrior 3 that was like 4 hours long? Yikes.
Feels like review culture has just devolved into dikkriding AAA monstrosity or Indie darlings. AA never get any love anymore.

Hmm i guess i don’t really see how evil west is considered AA and Plague Tale is considered Indie. They are both technically indie games with AA budgets. They even have the same publisher
Do you forget the OG game? This was before they got bought out by M$.
The game was a $39 title at launch that scored an 81 on metacritic in 2019. It was a pretty basic and linear adventure.
The sequel is more in line with an AA title. Priced at $49 just like Evil West on PC.
Evil West has a considerably bigger budget than OG Plague Tales.
