Brock’s gift/curse is “plausible believability”. Every time they book him they take a realistic approach, despite everything else around it is fake/storylines. Kofi was squashed because it wasn’t believable he could put up a fight & they wanted Brock to look strong in the debut show (I’m also aware of Brock’s matches with Bryan and Styles, but we all know how the WWE does business :mjpls:)

So I ask, who looks believable enough to beat Brock? He’s chumped everyone on both shows.
So Kofi wasnt believable..is the Fiend? He ate 10 finishers and becomes unbeatable when the psycho music comes on with little light.

Honestly it's fascinating how Brock has been finessing Vince for 20 years. Got an inflated contract for developmental by using WCW as a bargaining chip despite having no intention of going to WCW, in part because of his inflated contract got called up early and given the biggest push in a decade and within months is destroying Hulk Hogan clean and beating The Rock for the title before being the face of Smackdown brand and main eventing WM a year in.

Decides fukk it he hates the schedule and bails, wins a lawsuit to get out of his contract, is a fukking walk on to the NFL, then goes to UFC and makes himself a bigger star, then Vince offers him double or triple the money to work the least amount of dates and do the least amount of work and keeps offering more and more every year for Brock to do less and less and consistently destroy his roster.

His finesse over Inoki and NJPW was more impressive.

The second sentence is true. The first one isn’t and people need to quit with that statement in 2019.
Fax. The E killed the idea of a draw by trying to make the brand itself the draw post Cena. That's why they sabotage everyone that gets over organically the last decade. shyt is bizarre

Brock is a draw in terms of name recognition, legitimacy, and extra buys/eyes for the WWE.

That's why they always put the belt on him before every major ppv or when they need to sell tickets, attract viewers, or garner interest like with the move to Smackdown. So @JOHN.KOOL was right in that it shows Vince still doesn't think anyone can hold that same stature except Roman.

No one got squashed like Kofi. AJ, Bryan, Finn all got to look like they had a chance at winning and they are all comparable in size to Kofi. I’m not saying Brock isn’t a draw, but I haven’t seen any numbers that show business is any different when he’s around.

He's saying he'd rather cater to his barely existent mainstream audience, than wrestling fans.

But they're making a bunch of dough which is his main priority. So I guess from his viewpoint it's working. :yeshrug:

TV deals and such are responsible for the money. Not Brock Lesnar. It's still a fool's errand.

But ticket sales are down and ratings are in the shytter so how is Brock this can't miss draw?

Seth Rollins has bytched him out repeatedly over several months of programming when it matters.

Beyond that? On physical appearance alone the answer is Braun (who Brock has shat in and on in matches) and Lashley.

That said ... hardly anyone can deliver a more convincing ass-whooping than Brock Lesnar (since Lashley is doing Blacked shyt and Riddle is in NXT). That's probably why they keep putting the belt on him.
