The problem with boxing is no fights are happening too much ducking.

Boxing is fine.

There's plenty of good fighters out there. The match-ups will happen. There is more in boxing than just Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder, and we have Canelo/GGG II this fall.

I'm' not talking about Wilder or AJ I'm saying it as a whole. I could careless about GGG and Canelo. Ain't no match-ups happening boxers are too concerned milking(Not fighting) UFC is delivering, however.

I usually go to every WWE show when they are around here. Tonight they are in Boston for RAW. I didn't bother going. Why bother? The same feuds have been treading water for months and I don't feel like Extreme Rules is going to lead to any true payoffs. I'm not even sure if SummerSlam will have a payoff minus maybe Roman over Brock as a possibility. But too late. They should have pulled the trigger on that years ago.

It'd be fine if they still shot vignettes or on location stuff like they did back in the day. You could have a feud last months on end because the interviews and vignettes and on location footage would add LAYERS to the feud without either wrestler having the go at it in the ring. They don't do NONE of that anymore.

By the time we get to a PPV these guys have all wrestled a million times so who gives a shyt? :manny:

What match-ups would you like to see happen this year?

I am fine with waiting, because money talks and guys will fight eventually. I've seen good fights this year in the WSSB, on the HBO, on Showtime, etc. Guys like the Charlos, Sor Rungvisai, Inoue, Lomachenko, Spence, Crawford, Badou Jack, Stevenson, Usyk, Gassiev, etc, have been in great fights or turned in great performances this year.

There's been some great fights in the UFC this year. TV cards as a whole have been lackluster though.

This year only had around 4 or 5 good fights nothing great or amazing anyway the fights I wanna see this year is Crawford Vs either Thurman or Khan probably November, Ortiz Vs either Parker or Miller, Lara Vs Jermell(Charlo been quite since Lara called him out), Billy Joe vs Jermall, Ramirez vs Regis, Wilder Vs Pulev, before Golden Boy granted GGG the fight I wanted to see Billy Joe Vs GGG, Bryant Jennings vs Parker, Spence vs Vargas and etc.

HBO's fights have been mostly dumpster juice this year.

1. The roster is trash

That's all that needed to be said, name one person on this current roster that can be a huge star? Zero

There's a reason they keep bringing "part-timers" back

I haven’t watched this garbage in weeks. I saw some tag match with Corbin and immediately changed. The product is at an all time low which is a shame because the roster is the best probably since 01

I think those fights are probably going to happen. But you'll have to wait. Keith Thurman is mostly inactive anyways, and he's rumoured to be signing with Matchroom Boxing next week as part of the DAZN introductory presser. Ortiz just got KO'd by Wilder like 3 months ago, he's gotta recover from that CTE. Wilder vs Pulev is likely since AJ is ducking him and fighting Povetkin. Jennings vs Parker was supposed to happen, but then we got Parker vs Whyte in like 2 weeks.

HBO Superfly card was great, but yeah I've mostly watched Showtime and WSBB this year.

As far as in ring goes they've never been as talented it's just that we don't really have a reason to care on the main roster we just want our guys to get the title in the hopes that they'll do something with them. Johnny Gargano and Tomasso Ciampa feud has real heat, there is no title on the line but you feel the characters you can believe both would shank the other if it wasn't against the rules. The problem is it doesn't matter because it is not going to translate to the main roster because RAW is kind of a variety show and most of these guys are either new to wrestling or were allowed to adlib on the independent scene.

What is the point of NXT giving them great material when they should be learning how to interact with midget wrestlers, how to pretend to be a fan of a c-list pop rapper or how to prepare to job to someone who has to look strong in order for them to look competent before jobbing to the end boss. I'm not going to say whether or not these things have mass appeal outside of hardcore fans but it feels like giving them these NXT takeover epics is just them giving the wrestlers an extension of goodwill so us fans can know that the wrestlers themselves don't actually suck.
