just realize there's a lack of male r&b mainstream singers:hhh:I love Bryson Tiller but his music is heavily hip hop too.
there's plenty of talent but most are indie, Canadian, or gay

I really wish this section was more active. I don’t really vibe with rap like that aside from a select few artists, and it’s hard sharing new non-rap in The Booth because more than likely they’ll hate on it and talk shyt.

Agreed. Brandy is my favorite female vocalist of all time. :biggrin::bow:
She’s my favorite too. She’ll be in my top 5 until the day I die. Brandy, Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Diana Ross, Billie Holiday, should be studied by every singer for runs, tones, phrasing, pitch, power, and timing.

Agreed completely! All of those women you mentioned were/are phenomenal vocally from a skill and technical standpoint. :bow:
