Problem with the show has and always will be wack topics. I don't know who the producer is, but they should've been fired a lonnnnnnnnng time ago. There was a month where they would talk about Cardi B, every single fukking day, even if it was just her tweeting about some Bx shyt. Joe was always the one that tried to curve away from wack ass shyt like that. Ak, has the fanbase though, so it's going to be interesting if he decides to leave, does he follow Joe, or go back to doing his own?

He said they was doing endorsements deals with Nike and other brands,had him rocking Nikes on the show and him and Ak didn’t get a cut.He created the show but doesn’t get credited as a creator

Said when he was trying to negotiate they told him Out of Bounds was more profitable

He basically said they wouldn’t negotiate at all and only offered the same deal he’s already on

He said alot more,he talked about it for about 45 minutes and I don’t blame him for not taking that deal

Ak should dip too but he’s probably just happy to be in the industry and around celebrities

Because it's a job, something he gotta wake early in the AM to do when he doesn't really NEED it. nikkas like to clown Joe but he's not broke, 200k ain't gonna make or break his pockets, as a father to a newborn and someone who obviously still has the itch to rhyme, being obligated to show up at Complex at the ass crack of dawn to talk about shyt you don't even want to talk about may not be worth it when you have your own podcast/platform and can still create content on your own terms.

Edit: I can see why AK took the check, but he has enough of a platform of his own too that he could have bypassed that.

Joe had to separate from Complex because they were playing both sides. They were using him as the main draw while simultaneously co-signing whatever hype beast shenanigans that Joe
made fun of. The Migos diss was the tipping point because Ak and Complex are diccriding Migos and it would hurt Joe's brand to continue being cuffed to that show, while the culture and his cohosts
take shots at him.
