I told my girl literally the same things Joe said when she asked me about Motorsport. Its obvious that Cardi's verse is mixed differently and the song was A Nicki/Migos joint that wasnt approved or concocted for them both. Plus the fact that they haven't come out on some unity and promoted eachothers verses just seals what most people should already know about this song.

I swear these topics are starting to overlap. I mean how many times can you debate about the same 14 rappers? :snoop:
I'm starting to think it wasn't a good idea for this to be a daily show. Weekly perhaps? Just to keep the show & topics fresh.

The show is a complex show, you think the people at Complex know anything bout our music, outside of Drake, Ye, Kendrick, and all these new weirdo rappers they trying to push.

Just last week Nadeska referred to 2007 as old school.:mjlol:

Nadeska seems like the type that only followed popular music and her indepth knowledge of rap started when she started covering it professionally. So anything prior to her graduating college, she probably only knew about rap on a surface level. Kanye, Jay, 50, Em, X, those types. Maybe, MAYBE she delved a little deeper into the Slum Village, Little Brother stuff (Which was like hypebeast/hipster underground championed music around that time) but that's probably the furthest she goes.

i'd prolly bet she was one of the type that liked Cam and the Clipse too.
them, Jeezy and then eventually Gucci were the hustler/gangster rap darlings for writer/hipster types.

I kinda agree with Joe about Cyhi but I kinda don't.

See, Joe is unique in that he doesn't care about perception, so he's been able to do things that have created a space for him to succeed in this climate. Other rappers like Cyhi or a Stalley, probably still care a lot about how they're perceived and aren't willing to take the gamble of coming off corny doing something out the box to win, because if it doesn't work, now you're a clown ass nikka that didn't make it as oppose to being a respected artist that just never got a break. If it works, obviously, that's the best option but it's not that easy.

joe wrong about cyhi. he dropped legend a month or so ago, then the joint w/ schoolboy. they never even thought about mentioning them and the singles (which were fukkin great) never caught on. kanye hasnt had much of a presence (to my knowledge) on either of the black histori projects. why wouldnt he now use kanye to drum up some pub for his debut project?

i get its alot of music circulating, but its a gross misrepresentation of an artist and their career when joe just throws around these false claims. he should know better.

and Cyhi or a Stalley can't do mad embarrassing shyt and then have the "i was on drugs" excuse to fall back on.
nor do they have the fanbase that cares so much and are so invested in them and their lives the way Buddens are/were for him.
