I agree with basically everything you said, but I think his point would be just that people don't think Nicki is that good or her music is that good. Subconsciously sure yea men might not even consider women because they don't relate at all to the content.

At straight rapping, I don't think men discriminate as much but seeing them as artists, yea they will. I never give points like oh that was good for a girl tbh lol. I mean for me personally, the Rapsody album was good but I honestly feel like some folks are giving her extra points because it's from a woman/woman perspective. My favorite on that album is "Knock On My Door," a very feminine song but still the body of work doesn't hit like it should :yeshrug:.
I personally liked her Crown EP way better. People were praising the album giving her way too much props and I guess it set my expectations too high but it just wasn't all that cohesive to me and felt disjointed. Ironically I only loved the last track Jesus Is Coming. I wanted more of those type of tracks but she was definitely getting the extra points being Roc Nation affiliated and her being a female.

Joe lying to himself if he thinks Nicki got judged like the men. I have never heard a man in a real discussion (Not media bullshyt where you have to be all P.C.) put any female rapper in discussion with the greats. Straight men are not going around bumping a female rapper like that, I don't care what y'all say. Closest was probably Lauryn Hill and that's because she was more of a mixture of rapper/singer.

Joe being confused by Ak saying he can't relate to what they rap about, was Joe being P.C. he knows that. And Nadeska tried to compare it to male rappers talking about selling drugs or fukking a bunch of bytches and killing people, but that's completely different. Even if you can't relate, you can identify at least with wanting to be that type of dude. What straight male envisioning/wanting to identify with the shyt Nicki talks about? Or any female rapper for that matter, a lot of the time.

I disagree, women get bonus points an extra shine for putting out great music. Taking it back when Kim and Foxy dropped plenty of men was bumping their shyt. The problem is there has really been a female rapper that had a long sustained run to be discussed with the greats. Nikki been around forever but has she really dropped a bunch of classic albums and singles. Remy was locked up forever. Kim fell off quickly after BIG died. Foxy came with 2 or 3 hot albums then quickly went to shyt. Lauryn Hill one album and gone crazy. Da Brat 1 and a half album then fell off. Lyte and Latifah was from the era that is now overlooked for the most part even for the male MCs. So who's the female MCs that should be compared to the greats?

Personally, no men I knew was riding around bumpin Lil Kim and Foxy Brown. A song here and there, maybe but not albums or nothing. I don't think any female rapper would ever crack my top 50.

Women get extra credit for having any semblance of bars. At no point has there ever been a female rapper who was top 15 rappers alive.

Nadeska has absolutely no respect for akademics

But she's trash as well, I hate that she gets in her feelings every episode. I wish they had a stronger, more media trained female moderator.

Nadeska always making excuses or trying to explain herself is mad awkward.
joe needs to continue to go in on her..

i reckon a few more jokes and pinky could have a breakdown:russ:

The fukk is this? Now they gonna try to start shoving female rappers down our throat b/c for the most part they trash? And I can't stand Ak but he right I aint putting no female on my top 20 list hell probably 30 or 40. Sorry they don't make the cut and for the most part don't have enough material and considered a novelty act. Harsh but its true. Nikki can rap but we gonna sit up here and act like she wasn't doing that helium voice, barbie doll bullshyt with those hideous english accents and all kinds of other fukkery? She chose to be a clown and go the sex route to garner attention and not rely on her lyrics now she bytching about not being taken seriously as a rapper after she inflated her ass and tittys flaunting them every chance she got.
Joe is so full of shyt also. He just trying to suck up to the female audience b/c as many discussions he had about greatest list he never ever ever mentioned any female rappers.
Man I wish Mal was on this show b/c he would shut Joe's bullshyt down with the quickness. Nadeska needs to stop with the fake outrage. She barely even knows anything about rap as it is and only stans for J. Cole.
Edit: And she hates Fruity Pebbles:camby:

Which a why I honestly and wholeheartedly think Cardi is already better. A lot of her theme is just on the come up, everybody relates to that. Nah I don't want red bottoms but she ain't even explicitly say red bottoms. He'll I can even relate to getting enough paper that I didn't have to choose what kicks I wanted lol, but cop em both.

Nicki been trash since monster imo.
