Sqad 4 will forever be my all time favorite piece of artistry by Wayne. I liked Carter 1 and 2 but Sqad 4 was him on another level and him putting cats on notice that he wasn't playing. It took Drama and those Dedication mixtapes to push him off to the mainstream and get everyone on the bandwagon but those Sqad tapes were my all time favorite Wayne projects.

i would count carter 1, dedication 2, and the no ceilings joint as classics. if someone wants to include carter 3 as well, i get it.
and to say wayne was never #1...
there was clearly a window during his run when no one on planet earth was fukking with him. dude was putting out way more music than anyone else in the game and still dropping heat left and right. mixtapes, charts... please. i get you might not fukk with him; it took me a while to really get into his music. but let's not re-write the record books breh.

That shyt dropped right when I got into message boards. I fukked with Cash Money heavy but not really Wayne so it was blowing my mind seeing a thread on wodie talking about Wayne better than Big (which is still laughable). But it got me checking some of his SQAD4 tracks and ended up just having a long ass mixtape of his freestyles that I started passing out putting other people on to him. He was murdering shyt. Best of Me, Awww Nawww, Renegades. Wayne was killing all that shyt. He eventually became overrated but at that time he was in my top 5 out.
