People call it a classic because of the impact/hype and sales it had, that alone doesn't make a classic, had some good music on it but some god awful shyt too, the C3 Leaks and Tha Carter 2 were miles better.

Basically,post C-2 fans love to hype up C3 as classic because they like to feel like they were there in real time to witness Waynes rise to the top.
No,nikkas who was following Wayne since Da Block is Hot Days,or at least Squad Up era get to say that,not you new nikkas calling C3 a classic
C2 was his peak and where you thought he put it all together,then you heard the leaks and you thought he was leading up to something,only for it to end up in yet another let down surrounded by hype just like 500 degreez was,Wayne dont have the clutch gene

He was coming off them squad up tapes, dropped one of the best gangsta grills tapes in dedication 2 , plus the curiosity of what a Wayne album would sound like without Manny fresh.... then dropped Carter 2. nikka was on top
