eminem can't make a 4:44 type album.
nobody is trying to hear a 44 year old white man talk about financial independence for black people. em has also never been a braggadocious rapper so he can't do that as clever and slick as jay either.

his best albums played into the image of a crazy ass drug addicted young white boy from the trailer park who had the mind of a serial killer and said the most outrageous shyt while doing it with complex lyricism.
he can't do that anymore because he's a damn near 50 year old sober gajillionaire.
it's the reason why's he's been lost conceptually and why he kept pushing out that motivational shouty rap with some random indie singer on the hook for the past few years, because he's got nothing left.

Yeah to each his own. I haven't liked everything Em has done but I always liked his style of wordplay; which I think he did aight on. I think that gets overlooked more than the shock value aspect. But thats me.
