Gave the whole backstory and breakdown on why Ak isn't going to listen to the album and dismiss, but will highlight disappointing 1st week sales.

Drake didn't need to sign to a major. He could've dominated independently. Best I ever had, Housatlvegas, and succusful were buzzing cause of him not Wayne. The Wayne co-sign helped but it wasnt needed like that. But Wale and meek needed the MMG push.

He was lowkey signed that whole time. Drake had been trying to rap and got no traction until he got with Wayne. Gotta remember Wayne was the hottest thing in rap.
