Come on yall.. I'll be 26 in a few days but im not trying to hear no Prince or MJ only. shyts wayyyy before our time. I can appreciate them as legends but those weren't the artists we were listening to everyday on our MP3 players walking to school.
Prince and MJ started making music decades before I was born. When someone started isn't relevant.

Thats cool but you're the exception not the norm. Look at the recently played tracks in a room full of 20-29 year olds, im willing to bet you won't see Prince or MJ. Youre gonna flip this into me saying that Prince and MJ aren't dope when the point is that most young people arent playing their music on their drive to work, school, at parties, etc.

You can bring the discographies from 1 rapper and 1 R&B and this nikka says Drake and Chris Brown? She says Kanye n Frank Ocean?

No MJ, Prince, ect? How you a female over 30 and THATS what you bringing?

I know musical taste is the most subjective thing in the world but I swear those 2 act like music started with the College Dropout.

Yeah the lack of history and scope they have on this show is atrocious. They're prisoners of the moment.

That's what I'm saying. They don't know anything or maybe their taste is just really bad

What y'all are complaining about is no different than people picking "old" music just because they think it gives them a certain credibility.

You can respect older artist but that music will not hit you the same cause you didnt grow with it.
Pac n Sade.. I'm 25
:mjlol:

Dude grow up

My most recent played songs and who I'm taking are not the same thing. I probably would've said Maxwell for r and b tbh. I can get th3 Chris Brown answer from An. The Drake answer is smh. You might as well take Jay or Kanye if you're doing that. They've done everything he has done better.
