Really out chea
I just looked for the episode with Vince Staples and it's taken down from Youtube.......
The show has gotten much better. Everybody has got pretty good chemistry with each other now.
Still think they should limit this to under a half hour and make it a little more organized because some topics just run on or seem forced but they are still trying to figure it out.
I liked the exchange between Ak and Joe about his career and think Ak touched on something but Joe really cleared it up and was sincere with his response. Joe's tone is the problem and he's so passionate about hip hop and certain topics people forget that deep down he's a fan first. Truth be told if Joe wasn't a rapper first he'd remind me of me and my friends when having hip hop discussions/debates/arguments.
AK on the other hand is like a hybrid spin off version of Wendy Williams and it disgust me at times. Straight up that boy needs a stylist so bad. Jesus he dresses like shyt and you can't really have a good hip hop convo with him b/c he doesn't know shyt. He only loves the fukkery that it spawns and the other shyt that's a byproduct of it. Joe hit on something else too which was on point when talking about Young Thug. He said he liked the artistry of the Jeffrey album cover and AK writes it off as amounting to nothing b/c it didnt put up numbers. The way he dismisses artist and tries to shyt on them b/c of sales is so fukking irritating b/c he misses the point and can't discuss the music. Its amazing to me that Rory is the same age as AK and is so much more mature and can have a damn near 2 hour meaningful convo with Joe (Ep 119 podcast) talking about hip hip and it be better than anything AK has ever attempted to say. Really good week for the podcast and ES show.
feel like this ep was inception; while describing the biggest troll in hiphop (tyler) joe trolled the topic itself (he associated migos w/ homosexuals along w/ atl)
Felt hella tension in the air this episode. I dont blame joe for being annoyed though, Ak and Nadeska have been acting dense as hell the last couple of episodes.
yeah, i get the devil's advocate shyt, but he was just being an ass, today. hiphop is still widely homophobic. jay definitely dissed kanye ("it was clever!" foh), and meek hasnt been humble in the least. just because those shots he took on them ep's missed the entire target dont mean he "fell back." when he had his chance to answer, he didnt. ak coulda really snatched his soul when he was tryna fry him about vic mensa. meth was the last shot of that frame...self explanatory.Joe is still salty
and uses his saltly opinions as news.
I love hating on ATL as much as the next guy but its not a predominantly gay city or culture.
Ehh I was more so referring to the homosexuality segment.MEEK HAS NOT SHOWN HUMILITY
in his mind he still won the war
joe right.
outside of the coli being a gay rapper isn't a negative.
maybe among hardcore gangsta hip-hop culture but that group doesn't matter anymore and has lost relevancy.
a ton of rappers out now doing fruity shyt that would never got accepted in the 90's.
quavo out here saying he would eat a nikkas ass like almond joy.
