it's not that he's dissing him he's just not consistent. he says Thug on his way to being a superstar because he's trying something different, ak mentions Future just did the same exact thing, "oh.... but he always sings" :mjlol:, then when they mentioned Future was on SNL its oh but he performed with Weeknd call me when he's on there by himself :deadmanny:

just sounds silly to me for you to say Thug is close to superstardom but Future aint and he is everything Thug is plus more.
Oh ok yeah I agree, that whole argument is fukking retarded imo, and Joe does love to move goalposts when he gets caught out, you ever see this interview? Check around the 6:45 mark, I'll praise Joe anyday over AK but Joe definitely plays himself sometimes

Joe's inability to admit when he is wrong is maddening, for whatever you wanna say about AK, he seems more able to sit there and put up with it than I would.

Californ-i-a by way of BK
Joe is right about Future, he's not a mega or superstar

Megastar: Beyonce, Adele, Madonna, Rihanna, Drake, etc... (Everybody knows these people and they sell a shyt ton of records and are heavily covered by major media outlets like CNN, NBC, etc...)

Superstar: Kendrick, J Cole, Chris Brown, etc. (Are household names in to black people, have a wide cultural fanbase outside of the country as well, are known well by the secondary media outlets, have mainstream recognition)

Star: Meek Mill, Future, Migos (Really big among people in the 15-25 age demographic, some media recognition if it involves them with bigger acts, some crossover songs).

If he said Chance is a superstar or Mega star, he's bugging but he's closer than Future is because he already getting more mainstream recognition

50 Cent is a mega star.

How is Migos on the same level as Future when they're sharing second billing with Torey Lanez on a tour that Future's headlining? And I don't see where or how J.Cole is bigger tbh, and Meek is certainly not bigger. But honestly, I hope he never becomes a megastar or whatever because that'll almost certainly mean he's not making music for the streets anymore.
