Tweets and hot takes from journalists who never picked up a basketball in their lives were taken serious by the Best team on the road. For as much scrutiny they get for playing mid at Home I don’t hear no one talking about them winning 17 games in the road in the playoffs the last 3 years.

Not sure what that has to do with what I said haha. In fact, I said Boston should have benched Horford. Cleveland has one shot creator and a bunch of role players that don’t rise to the occasion. Everyone who Boston faces deeper in the playoffs (after they wash Cleveland) won’t have those problems.

Like Boxing, styles makes fights. The Cavs quick shifty guards with Horford's statue defense are a match made in heaven

Cleveland is at a crossroads; if they offer Mitchell the max deal and he doesn't take it, they'll NEVER get equal value back in trade in return. Not even close. Not a good spot to be in.

Mitchell should take the money and worry about the rest later as he’s already missed out on the Tatum bread with the trade to Cleveland.

No use in letting in letting people and the media fukk you out of bread these days as it’s money you won’t get back.

Makes sense. In retrospect, they've got to be kicking themselves that they threw in Markannen in that trade to get Mitchell. :snoop: Not to mention, they've got to figure out what to do with regards to Okoro too.

Yeah and most NBA agents these days preach to the players to just take the money and ask for a trade later

That..might be a hard trade to pull off since salaries have to match. Miami or the Knicks couldn't do it without gutting their team.

TBH I think the ship has sailed with Mitchell to the Knicks. Brunson is a god here, you don’t want to take the ball out of his hands. The fit was always weird having two guards under 6’3” on the court at the same time too.

especially since both have had history of being defensive liabilities in the playoffs

I mean the home concerns are valid, championship teams are typically dominant at home in their runs. Of the last 10 non-bubble title teams none had more than 3 home losses in their runs. Celtics already got two and we haven’t even finished the 2nd round. And their struggles the last two leads me to not give them the benefit of the doubt
