IDK about underrated. From what I remember when it was on it was very popular. And even today it's still highly regarded and a lot of people still watch it. Especially in Brazil.

I don’t think it was underrated. But I do love that show. There should be more black shows like that. Where it’s just an easy watch, and the whole thing ain’t about struggle (even though they wasn’t well off)

I dunno if he could be serious enough to add the gravitas the character benefited from after seeing how Terry Crews did with it, though. Like he'd had to have some level of comedic element to it from how he naturally is that night have lowered the seriousness of the role a bit, in my opinion, but it would have more than likely been dope.
Chris would have probably gotten cracked on like Bernie did his nephew and they'd okay up on that.
