If it had come out around the 90s/Early 2000s, it would’ve gained more critical acclaim. Black sitcoms started to tail off around the mid 2000s (in terms of popularity).

Great show nonetheless.

To think Patrice O’Neal nearly got it. Terry did his thing (he was the perfect cast for the role) but I would’ve loved to have seen how Patrice would handle the role.
