It's because they didn't have the internet, AAU teams, play on Olympic and USA teams every two years like today's players do.

So they stayed salty with each other by not really knowing each other.

These. They came up with a certain mindset that is pretty much impossible in today's game. They didn't have tens or even hundreds of millions to take their mind off shyt either. Much harder to be mad at a nikka 20 years later for some shyt when you sitting on $100 mil and haven't had to lift a finger since you retired.

Ain't this the same nikka that said that if he were in today's league, he could average 30-40 points per game :stopitslime: Durant, Bron, Wade, Kobe, Artest, Grainger, Melo, Pierce, all would be swatting his sh*t left and right.

I won't even ask how he can react that way over an all star mvp

But u clearly see the generational differences between alpha males then as opposed to now

Because its simply not just an mvp. The mvp gets u endorsements, the endorsements bring more fame and fortune. Awards always give u the benefit of the doubt in conversations. So I guess he's thinking, I didn't get the mvp because they didn't respect my game.

Church.
