I dunno why most of society myself included remember this a Swiizz Beatz production

that beat is waaaaaaaaayyyyyyy too polished and dope to be a Swizzy beat from back then. It probably helped that Vol 2 came out around when I was really getting into reading the credits properly and understanding who did what and what it all meant. So it may have stuck with me more than the average guy. But Jigga What is much more of a typical Timvo beat of the time than Swizz Beats.

But see it doesn't really "sound like a Timbo beat" of that year or year before

Maybe it is because of Money Cash Hoes

Honestly... they were fire for that time period. No replay value at all in 2020. So, I can see the revisionist outlook now

Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but the whole "didn't age well" argument in The Booth is by far the most irrelevant argument you'd ever find on a forum period. One person can say it didn't age well, then the artist performs the same song(s) live and the response to it from the crowd is the complete opposite from The Booth. For example, The Booth declares "Dirt Off Your Shoulders" to be wack, yet this:

^^^ nearly 15 years later. Songs that don't age well are not mainstays in artist's set list and they definitely aren't performing them after over a decade. This song, as well as several other Timbaland produced Jay songs, are STILL mainstays in his set list. Those songs are classics.

In
Awful awful thread.

I’m the biggest Nas stan on the planet and even I have to say that the “You Owe Me” beat wasn’t anything special.

Whilst Big Pimpin and Dirt Off Your Shoulder are stone cold certified CLASSICS and Hola Hovito is dope as fukk
A slept on Nas and Timbo joint is that you wont see me tonight. I liked you owe me when it came out and nas floated on that Hot Boyz joint
