Funny you say that, because the most successfully country in Africa is under white rule :sas2:
Last I checked Nigeria wasn't ran by white people, unless some albinos took over the last couple days.

Fair assumption tho because we know they wouldnt dare slap the same unnecessary sanctions on their brothers in S.A, like they would predominately black countries. Starve and steal from their own? never. but its ok. China is here now. Nigeria has taken the lead, and the others will soon follow. Oh and the ANC which rules S.A, isn't white. Unless you're implying SA whites pay black politicians, which sounds more like black pimpin'. . :sas1:

I'm Jamaican but pretty sure my ancestors were from west africa. I was just doing some research and Ghana seems pretty cool. English is the main language, you can get a zip of weed for 30cents, and its one of the fastest growing economies. Plus my money would be worth a lot more over there.

Honestly thinking about stacking up in america, then investing my money in ghana and eventually going to live there. Original plan was for early retirement in jamaica but jamaicas corrupt as fukk. And technically i figure Ghana's closer to my homeland anyway.
Hello. When I finish nursing school I plan to relocate to an African country. I am still doing my research on countries. I'm leaning towards Kenya and Rwanda. I wish you luck.

some places are nice, like Luanda, Lagos, Kigali, Gaborone, Addis Ababa, Nairobi.

Heard a lot of good things about Gaborone (and Botswana in general): stable economy, very low corruption (by African Standards) and it's pretty developed already. Def planning to check it out soon.

This thread has great pics on Nairobi: http://www.nairaland.com/51356/nairobi-photos-kenya-beautiful-east

As for the OP's question, absolutely it's been on my mind and I hope to do so within the next 5-7 years. Will be making a trip to Cameroon next year, and will do more trips to other countries afterwards. The past 5 years convinced me that we'll never be equals here, no matter what we do. Doesn't mean we shouldn't put in work but that ultimately, it is not our country.

Also, doesn't mean the black presence should be gone from America forever. We should pick a few states, or a region of the country, and dominate it, similar to Asians and the west coast and Latinos in the southwest. However we should def have one foot out, banking on collective prosperity in American soil isn't a winning proposition.

Plus, there are far more investment opportunities in Africa emerging everyday. Why spend all of your dollars in a society that has been antagonizing you and people who look like you for centuries now?

Doesn't mean such a move will be easy. Many African countries are still developing and lack a lot of key infrastructure. In addition, potential culture clash can be a concern. It's very important to research various countries (and regions) in the continent.

However, if the Chinese of all people can make headway, no reason why black folks here can't. And you don't have to follow an exploitive mentality like many Europeans had in the past to do so.

At the beginning of mean streets
Going to check out Kinshasa in Feb.

All this cac this cac that, go to where there's zero cacs then. :manny:

I recommend everyone to visit, research a capital, save $2,500 and bounce for 10 days, def enough time to do a tour with a company and your own venturing, get to know some people, network. If you like it, see what you can do for work.

some places are nice, like Luanda, Lagos, Kigali, Gaborone, Addis Ababa, Nairobi. In fact, I've got 2 chinese friends, my old chinese teacher, shes only 24 lives in Lagos now, and my homie lives in Nairobi. Both seem to love it, I see dude posting up at all kinda bars and bbq spots in Nairobi. He the only chinese dude all cheesed up with Kenyans. They treat him good. My old teacher is also doing good, getting invited to Victoria Island for parties and shyt.

Aint that some shyt, chinese people got more balls than AAs. :heh:
Take me with you. :lupe:

Norfeast groovin…
nikkaz will see these whites take old fukked up neighborhoods and turn them out, yet somehow not put 2 and 2 together and realize what the whole Africa scheme is about. I think the reason why more AAs and Diasporan Blacks bring this up is because of the new Africans here that send their money back and build beautiful homes and businesses for themselves. Moving outright isn't necessary, doing business and interacting however is essential to the future success of the continent and diaspora.

I'm Haitian born but Almost moved to South Africa (Johannesburg) back in 2011. I had a job offer and all to work with MTN South Africa.

I ended up backing out of the deal. Jus wasn't meant to be I guess.

Edit: And it's funny because the job is with the same company i a with now but just in our S.A. offices in coordination with MTN South Africa. So every now and then the chick (who is from South Africa) that ended up taking the job gets frustrated and always be joking with me and be like "man, come get your sh!t" :laff:
